LadySonya Music Studio offers private and group music instruction for students of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to intermediate. Our mission is to teach, motivate, and inspire students to appreciate and enjoy the richness of music. We aim to foster intellectual creativity and curiosity in the music-making process, empowering students to express and share their musical wisdom with others.
At LadySonya Music Studio, we emphasize versatility by teaching a variety of music styles and offering a unique skill: learning to play by ear. We believe in nurturing creativity, allowing students to develop a trained ear to recognize various tones and nuances in music. We are passionate about guiding students to become well-rounded musicians who can confidently explore different genres and musical expressions.

As a seasoned instructor, LadySonya offers piano and voice lessons to aspiring music producers, artists, and major industry figures at LadySonya Music Studio in Atlanta, GA. Since founding the studio in March 2008, she has built an outstanding reputation, consulting with high-profile producers and artists such as Fat Boi, Kyron Leslie, Justice League(producers for Mary J. Blige, T.I., Rick Ross, and more), and Brittany “Chi” Coney (producer for Beyoncé, Jay Z, Rihanna, DJ Khaled, Ariana Grande, Kelly Rowland, Kehlani, and Monica). These collaborations have allowed her clients to contribute to tracks for renowned artists, including Usher, Travis Porter, Jody Breeze, Young Money, and others.
Her success is a product of her deep knowledge of music theory, strong industry connections, and unwavering commitment to her craft.
